Business Development Manager - Scaffolding - £60k - Cambridgeshire. My client is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive their Hoist business forward in the South East.

About the Client:

The client specialise in the hire and sales, operation and maintenance of construction hoists. They specialise in anything from rack and pinion, passenger/ goods lifts to beam and chain hoists and have been a major player within the industry. They have just been acquired by a large multinational contractor who is now investing in growing the business which hopefully in turn will drive sales forward.

About the Role:

  • Drive sales forward in the South East
  • Networking across the area
  • Using existing clients to generate more revenue as well as new business generation
  • Selling into the construction industry
  • Reporting to the Managing Director
  • Main route to market is main contractors and sub-contractors

About the Candidate:

  • Preferably you will have previous experience with Hoist systems although people who have had experience in selling a service or similar products will be considered
  • Sales background
  • Experience in selling into the construction industry
  • Self-driven
  • Excellent communication skills
