Business Development Manager - M&E Contracting - £60k-£70k - South East A well-established M&E Contractor based in the South-East are looking for a Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have previous experience selling engineering solutions to end-user clients particularly within the South East of England. A candidate who has worked within either the project or maintenance side of building services would be ideal, a current client/contact base with end-users though is required

About the Client:

An top name within the M&E Building Services industry, with an exceptional reputation of delivering engineering excellence. They are a major player within the industry particularly in the South East. They undertake projects broadly across the commercial, public, education and healthcare sectors up to the value of £7m. They are now looking for a Business Development Manager in South East area and offering a package of about £70k-£80k

About the Role:

  • Identify the customer base and services sold which will lead to an understanding of the market and new opportunities
  • Become familiar with the delivery process capability and commercial requirements towards sales and profitability
  • Manage and maintain communications between all parties associated with contracting activities
  • Encourage the forming of close working relations with your clients, opportunities for sales and enquiry generation is at a maximum level
  • Monitor performance against company budget and business plan
  • Reach and Exceed targets to pre-determined Key Performance Indicators

About the Candidate:

  • Previous Experience within M&E Business Development vital
  • Current clients/contacts within end-user clients within a broad spectrum of sectors
  • Excellent technical knowledge - Preferably within Contracting Background
  • Proven track record of success
  • Excellent client-side skills and highly ambitious
  • Ability to advise and instruct Estimating team to ensure maximum conversion rate
  • Looking to develop personally within contracting environment
