Contracts Administrator/Document Controller – Construction -£25k - £26K – London.

About the Client:

They are a specialist building refurbishment contractor operating throughout London and the South East.

About the Role:

Contracts Administration
  • Setting up of new contract files electronically and manually.
  • Acting as Document Controller for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronic files, documents or hard copy documents.
  • Process orders for paint and plant, including the updating of the plant hire spreadsheet.
  • Processing and producing health & safety paperwork for live Contracts and new project starts.
  • Attending and taking notes of internal pre-start meetings.
  • Administration support to Surveyors and Contracts Managers including pricing day work sheets and preparing spreadsheets.
  • Collating and producing information for O&M manuals.
Office
  • Second line answering, screening and forwarding any incoming telephone calls while providing basic information when needed.  Answering the telephone in a prompt, polite and friendly manner.
  • Undertaking the Office Administrator duties and responsibilities in times of absence which could include processing the weekly wages, managing the post and ordering stationery.
  • Filing, photocopying, collating, scanning and printing a variety of documents

About the Candidate:

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Good IT skills using a variety of software packages, such as MS Word, Outlook and Excel etc
  • Experience with office management procedures.
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • A team worker who is able to be self-reliant and motivated
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage your time to meet key deadlines.
  • Able to build and maintain good working relationships with a wide range of people
