Contracts Manager - Drylining - £50k to £60k - Essex. Experienced Drylining Contracts Manager Required For The End Of August For A Permanent Position

Established for over 25 years this leading Essex based Drylining Contractor are looking to add to their current team. They specialise within Residential and Commercial projects with values reaching upwards of £3M. They have an incredibly low staff turnover and have a young vibrant team so this is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate. The successful Contacts Manager will have proven experience within Drylining and have a stable working history

About the Role:

  • Fully responsible for the running of projects on multiple sites
  • Issue progress reports to the Main Contractor on a weekly basis
  • Attend site progress meetings on site and at head office weekly
  • Coordinate all deliveries of material and the daily workload of all fixers and labourers in accordance with the Main Contractors programme
  • Coordinate all works with all other associated sub-contractors on site to ensure their products fit when they arrive
  • Responsible for Health & Safety
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, to budget and defects free

About the Candidate:

  • Prior experience as Contracts Manager with demonstrated understanding of requirements of role
  • Numerate and literate with very good spoken English.
  • Good knowledge of various computer packages including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
  • Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Have good practical organisation skills, planning of resources and programme scheduling
  • Be able to provide both summarised and detailed reports, on current activities
  • Prioritise and organise, taking a methodical approach
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a high standard of personal performance
  • Flexible and reliable
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Present information clearly, concisely and professionally
  • Attention to detail
  • Resolve issues fast and efficiently
  • Maintain relationships
  • Communicator & motivator with ability to communicate across all levels of seniority from the work face through to Senior Management level

  • Must be able to cover projects within the M25
  • Must be UK based
