Drawing Office Manager - £55k - West Yorkshire. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Drawing Office Manager to join  a well-established industrial roofing and cladding sub-contractor.

About the Client:

Our client is a well-established roofing & cladding sub-contractor. They have an excellent name in the industry and enjoy the benefit of repeat business from existing clients as well as expanding their client base continuously. My client is looking for an experienced Drawing Office Manager in and around West Yorkshire.

About the Role:

  • Delegate the project to a designer internal or external as agreed with the operations director
  • Ensure that the design programme is being achieved and report internally any issues
  • Attend internal project review meetings with the relevant project team members
  • Attend and lead client and main contractor design meetings
  • Manage both internal and external design resources
  • Ensure site visits are made to check as built detailing and ensure amendments to drawings are made
  • Liaise with site team to deal with any design issues

About the Candidate:

  • Experience in a Design Office Managers role
  • Knowledge of the industrial roofing and cladding industry
  • Project value ranging from £50k to £2 million
  • Based or willing to locate themselves in Yorkshire/North West
  • Strong client facing skills
  • Excellent man management
