QSHE Manager - M&E Installation - £38k - South Yorkshire. A growing regional leader within the Midlands and the North for Mechanical and Electrical installations on a number of high profile buildings is seeking a QESH Manager to lead the function for the business.

About the Client:

We work with a wide range of clients from small to large, and have worked projects within Leisure, Retail, Residential, Commercial and Warehousing and have a diverse skillset of directly employed staff within the business. My client is looking for an experienced QSHE Manager in and around South Yorkshire.

About the Role:

  • Develop the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality strategy across the business and ensure the continued development of the QESH function
  • Provide advice and guidance to Project and Site Managers across all active and future projects
  • Ensure that current ISO accreditations are maintained and plan and prepare for the new regulatory upgrades to the ISO specifications
  • Responsible for the ongoing training strategy across the business including the management of the training matrix
  • Deliver high level toolbox talks on a regular basis, with a planned cycle of subjects
  • Managing and monitoring the performance of Health & Safety compliance across the business, and following up where necessary
  • Sourcing external QESH resources for the business including PPE, training etc
  • Provide a quarterly report to be presented to the company Directors
  • Supporting the QESH aspects of new business winning process through participation in consultation meetings, contract generation and review, and support QESH activities on new contracts

About the Candidate:

  • You will be ready to / or currently are responsible for the Health & Safety function across a division of a business or for the business as a whole
  • Holder of a NEBOSH General or In Construction
  • Experienced in covering Health & Safety across Mechanical or Electrical installations

Points of Appeal:

  • Leadership function within the business reporting into the Directors
  • Develop an internal QESH function to roll out across the business, and see the demonstrable, company-wide impact of your actions
