An opportunity for an experienced and proven Drylining Site Manager/Supervisor has arisen in the North West of a progressive and dynamic specialist group of companies.

About the Client:

A very successful, established group of construction based companies who turnover close to £80m and employ around 1,000 people are unrivalled within each of their specialist sectors. They include: Drylining & Partitioning, Suspended Ceilings, Joinery Installations, External Facades & Cladding, multi-trade Fit Out which they specialise in plus many other disciplines. With regional offices across the UK my client deliver packages ranging in value from £10k to £15m.

About the Role:

Daily duties will involve the following:
  • Working with the client’s managers to get issues resolved, sequencing of programme and daywork signed off
  • Ordering materials
  • Checking drawings for issues and changes
  • Checking the working areas are ready for us to start work and informing both the project manager and the client if they are not
  • Instructing the labourers and skilled workers on site
  • being responsible for health and safety on site ie carrying out toolbox talks, inductions, ensuring PPE is worn
  • Logging events on site in the site diary
  • Emailing the clients to inform them of issues on site
  • Paperwork including RFI’s, Handovers, check lists, inspections, etc

About the Candidate:

The successful candidate will have the following:
  • SMSTS
  • Black CSCS
  • PASMA
  • English speaking
  • MS word and Excel proficient
  • Preferable experience in ceilings, dry-lining and high-end finishes
  • Familiarity with CAD
