Working Foreman - Commercial Fit Out - Commercial Fit Out - £160 to £200 day rate - Greater Manchester. Due to increased workload, an established and progressive Commercial Office Fit Out contractor based in the North West require a driven Working Foreman who will be tasked with the delivery of predominantly Cat B Office Fit Out projects across the North West. Working very closely with and reporting to the Operations Director of the business you will be supervising Commercial Office Fit Out works valued around £300k on average with the odd larger project into the millions. You will be working within a ‘hands on role’ pushing the project through to completion whilst having oversight on the work of various trades on site.

About the Role:

  • Delivery of predominantly Cat B Office Fit Out projects across the North West ranging in value from £100k-2.7m
  • Will have to assist with partitioning erection and ceiling fixing
  • Experienced in completing works to high quality standards
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Outlook and Word Knowledge and experience in use of Project Planning/Programme Techniques
  • Ability to prepare a 2 week look-ahead programme
  • Ability to prioritise, plan, schedule and evaluate works
  • Focused on timely completion of project and systematic completion of snagging
  • Arrange and manage site sub-contractor co-ordination meetings and record meeting minutes
  • A good practical understanding of Health & Safety requirements on site
  • Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Be innovative, proactive and committed to the project
  • Very good communication skills

  • Proven track record of delivering Commercial Office Fit Out projects as a Supervisor/ Manager.

  • Full First Aid At Work, CSCS Supervisor ticket and the ideal candidate will hold their SMSTS
