Business Development ManagerCivil Engineering

A rapidly growing civil engineering contractor are looking to continue their expansion by bringing on a business development manager to drive forward new opportunities within the Civil Engineering market. This individual must have experience in the Civil Engineering environment

About the Client:

The client are a well-established contractor that operate all over the South, their specialist areas include utilities, heavy civils, RC frame, groundworks and streetworks The business has grown year on year and are now looking to expand their client base and take advantage of new major schemes within the civils sector

About the Role:

  • Identify new areas for growth
  • Pursue opportunities in the market, bringing in new tender opportunities
  • Liaise with established clients to nurture relationship and ensure all opportunities for work are being actioned
  • Report back to Directors with new market opportunities
  • Presentations to the Pre-Con Director with projections for future business and opportunities

About the Candidate:

  • Previous experience working within a civil engineering contractor
  • Ideally degree qualified
  • Looking for a long term career
  • Self sufficient and able to work independently
  • Confident in own ability
  • Effective communicator
