Established over 25 years ago and have been delivering commercial cleaning services across the South East. They are renowned as being a service provider with a reputation for excellence and have grown to become one of the City of London’s most appreciated and successful contract cleaning companies. Due to more continued growth and contract wins they are looking to hire another Area Manager to manage a variety of sites.

About the Role:

  • To provide a totally efficient service, in accordance with the terms of the contract
  • To ensure at all times the company's image is maintained and its interest safeguarded
  • To be pro-active and flexible regarding any service function conducted on site
  • To be focused on providing a quality first approach to all cleaning requirements
  • To ensure maintenance of the highest standard of quality control and customer care.
  • To manage a motivated, flexible and contented workforce
  • To ensure all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to
  • To ensure the recruitment and selection of staff is carried out within the framework of current employment legislation
  • To control overheads and operational costs for the contract ensuring profitability
  • To be fully aware of all environmental issues / legislation pertinent to the contract

About the Candidate:

  • Will have a minimum of two years’ experience in managing a multi-site Cleaning Contract.
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Ability to motivate and develop staff to reach personal and contract potential
  • Possess a good knowledge of Employment Law
  • Have Knowledge of accounts procedure and control costs
  • IT literate and understand the full potential systems can offer the contract
