An industry leading company in the demolition market requires a fleet and plant coordinator to co-ordinate all functions of transport and plant operations. The client is looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will be involved and invested in the company’s effective running and ongoing success.

About the Client:

The client has been active in the demolition sector for over 15 years with an established client base and consistent work around the UK.

About the Role:

  • Providing the focal point for the provision, use and safety of vehicles, plant, lifting equipment and operators. Ensuring that all functions relating to the Operating Licence are met and procedures and are followed.
  • Monitoring and auditing daily drivers checks and defect reporting
  • Coordinating routine maintenance and safety inspections
  • Ordering new fleet, plant and vehicles
  • Production of fleet specifications
  • Managing planned and emergency repairs
  • Reviewing and agreeing damage repairs
  • Invoice scrutiny and recovery of any credits or compensation claims
  • Coordinating servicing, inspection and calibration of light plant and equipment

About the Candidate:

  • Knowledge of legal requirements in relation to fleet operations
  • Proven experience in purchase, maintenance and disposal of fleet and plant
  • PC literate
  • Commercially aware
