Our proactive approach and high service standards ensure we have a proud tradition of retaining customers and growing by referral We are recruiting for graduate/Junior Quantity Surveyors to join our expanding team.About the Role:
We are working alongside the new build division of a successful top 5 construction main contractor. Their head office is based in Bedfordshire and their workload predominately involves new build residential developments. They already have a full order book for 2018 and 2019 and are now successfully winning tenders for 2020, whilst expanding their production and commercial teams. They have recently started a new batch of schemes and are currently trying to resource a talented Quantity Surveyor to commercially assist one of the projects. Quantity Surveyor's duties will be assisting the senior members of the team in Subcontract procurement / management of subcontract accounts, costing of direct labour, monthly valuations; profit planning, identification and valuation of variations, detailed monthly cost / value reporting.About the Candidate:
- We are under instructions to provide Quantity Surveyors that meet the following criteria;
- Ideally a sub or main contracting background.
- Minimum 6 months to 3 years in a Quantity Surveying role
- Capable of working in a team environment.
- Good understanding of JCT form of contracts
- Successful career history to date.
- Minimum of HNC
