We are currently recruiting for our Client based in Southampton, a Mechanical Contracts Manager

About the Client:

They are currently looking to expand their operational team and bring in a Mechanical Contracts Manager to oversee multiple Commercial/Residential Hospital and Educational projects with the values up to £10M They currently operate in the Southampton/Hampshire region and the successful candidate must live within 30 miles of Southampton.

About the Role:

Overall Purpose:
  • To organise and deliver engineering services contracts
  • Uphold and communicate the values and culture of the company
  • Position the client as the Contractor of choice
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all company & department health & safety requirements are complied with
  • Produce risk and method statements for mechanical services contracts
  • Ensure each engineering contract operation is carried out profitably and on time
  • To attend client meetings, design meetings and site meetings
  • Coordinate daily activities of directly employed operatives and agency operatives
  • Handover contracts on completion and manage aftercare issues
  • Assist in the weekly compilation of operative timesheets / payments
  • Assist in the compilation and maintenance of training / plant & van records
