Operations and Business Development Manager – BMS Contracting - £55k-£65k - South East. An outstanding opportunity for a BMS Business Development Manager to join a growing but well-established contractor within the South East, but with a National Focus. They have long-standing partnerships with the major BMS manufacturers so the infrastructure is set for the continued growth around the UK. They do have a UK coverage but the plan is for this to be grown further still with this new role. The ideal candidate will have previous experience selling BMS Maintenance services in either a national or regional role.

About the Client:

A well-established, stable BMS Contractor are looking to develop their UK Coverage with this excellent senior-level appointment. They have an excellent array of clients from different sectors including various end-users (Property Developers, retail), main contractors and FM companies already though accounts need to be nurtured and new accounts developed. They have experienced year-on-year growth and are looking to ensure this continues over the coming years. My client is looking for an experienced Operations and Business Development Manager in and around South East region.

About the Role:

  • Develop a systematic sales plan which will achieve the quotation and sales targets in the disciplines detailed to meet margins and capacities as detailed and agreed in the Company budget
  • Utilise existing systems to maintain existing Customers and develop new Clients
  • Assist the development of a successful commercial business through personal endeavour and action
  • Personal visits, sales development and negotiation represent a major element of this position
  • Work closely with Directors to produce working plan and for target market segments

About the Candidate:

  • Previous experience of Business Development/Sales within BMS Contracting industry
  • Excellent strategic nouse and knowledge of the market
  • Pro-active, forward thinker excellent communication skills
  • Experience of dealing with senior management
  • Technical background an advantage, not essential though
